Teens ages 16 to 19 have seen the biggest drop in employment rate during the past decade, a trend that was accelerated by the long recession and slow recovery. In 2010, the employment rate for that age group was just 26 percent, the lowest rate since World War II, according to the report. By comparison, in 2000 their employment rate was 45 percent.
